Cost
Please refer to FAQs
page (FAQ1 and FAQ12). Most insurance companies
will cover the service.
In most cases
we calculate the cost of remediation on a square footage
basis, taking into consideration the areas of all
surfaces to be treated. Cost is also very dependant
on the state of preparedness an interior space has
prior to our involvement. For example, if we have
to remove soggy drywall and moldy insulation, or if
we have to tear out ruined drop-ceilings or carpets
or carpet pads, our charges will be proportionately
higher than if you have had these things done prior
to our arrival. Therefore, it is strongly recommended
to all customers in order to obtain the lowest possible
charges, to remove all such materials from the areas
to be remediated.
Warranty
Our method is backed by
our warranty to completely remove all molds and any
other living microbial infestation within a treated
area. And we will prove it with post-remediation testing
of all remediated areas to confirm absence of mold,
mold spores, and residual mold mycotoxins.
MRC guarantees that any space remediated for mold by MRC
will never grow mold again for the lifetime of the structure
itself, provided that MRC will reinspect the structure on an
annual basis for a nominal annual fee. In the event that an
owner declines such annual reinspection, MRC guarantees that
no mold will grow on any remediated surface for at least 5 years.
Both forms of guarantee require completion of the MRC warranty
card, signed by both the owner and the MRC Licensee who remediates
the structure. Additional terms, specified in the MRC Client Contract,
must be satisfied by the owner to validate and maintain the MRC
Guarantee in force.
MRC Tip:
To save you money, MRC advises that you wrap in plastic
sheeting all furniture and personal belongings that
have been exposed to a contaminated area, before moving
these items through an uncontaminated part of your
interior space. This is recommended in order to prevent
contamination of clean spaces by mold spores floating
off the exposed items. Also, if you have contaminated
furniture and clothing still in the affected areas,
it will save you money to prepare such items in this
manner prior to our arrival.
