Our process (revealed).
The MRC process has been in development for many years. Some steps are proprietary trade secrets, and there is a Patent Pending on the process for that reason. However, MRC is able to provide you with a general idea of what is involved, in order that no one feels that he or she is buying something simply on faith.
As opposed to the vast majority of supposed mold removal processes, MRC’s process involves multiple necessary steps that insure:
1) The complete removal of all mold
using an environmentally friendly method that entails
blowing plain baking soda under mild pressure over all
contaminated surfaces to completely remove all imbedded
mold and mold spores, while maintaining a Negative Air
closed environment surrounding all treated areas, vented
through a 99.97% efficient HEPA filter to the outside
as clean air.
2) Vacuuming all baking soda and mold
together through a 99.97% efficient HEPA filter.
3) Application of an EPA-approved Class
III biocide, safe for use around humans and pets, to
all treated surfaces.
4) Application of a water-soluble,
non-toxic mold-resistant sealer to the treated surfaces
that dries to an inert odorless hard clear surface,
so that no mold is likely ever to grow there again.
5) Application of a proprietary water-soluble,
non-toxic solution, odorless when dry, to all treated
surfaces that binds to and inactivates all Mycotoxins
and spores, rendering the treated area harmless and
non-allergenic.
6) Finally, we subject all remediated
spaces to overnight germicidal UV light illumination,
killing all microorganisms and their spores still circulating
in the air of the remediated spaces. No humans or pets
are permitted any exposure to these powerful UV lights.
7) Removal of all MRC equipment and
re-introduction into the remediated environment of MRC-treated
or approved construction materials by an MRC-certified
contractor or by your own General Contractor, provided
that he or she agrees to meet MRC standards to assure
that all such materials are mold-free.
MRC TIP: You should insist that any private contractor confirm that he understands MRC standards for any re-introduced construction materials, in order to assure that no further mold contamination of your remediated spaces occurs. You can make sure of that by insisting that he call MRC directly to learn how to comply, if he or she is not already familiar with those standards.
